Happy Chinese New Year + Valentines Days 2010

Feeling kind of lazy since I reach home on 12th Feb, cut my hair and waited for the big day. The big day (14th Feb) is actually two in one, Chinese New Year and Valentine's day. Very special for this year (Year of Tiger) but for me it's kind of weird and I think this two in one day is not good, personal opinion :) Everybody write about Chinese New Year and Valentine's day, so what happens to me??

Just the day before Chinese New Year, as I was going to sit down on my chair suddenly the leg of the chair break and good thing I didn't get any injury from this chair incident. I suppose this a sign??
I had gain weight baby^^
This lead to my curiosity so I had a check on is me (Dragon) compatible with the year of Tiger. All this days you can hear about prediction of Chinese astrology on radio and television constantly~ I google on it and found out that Dragon is OK with this year, I mean more good than bad I suppose^^ You guys can check on this website about astrology, I dunno about the accuracy but it good for some clue on this year :)

First day of Chinese New Year, which is also Valentine's day (Is it??) That's the problem, I can't really feel the atmosphere of love around. I tend to just wish everyone Happy Chinese New Year and forgetting about Valentine's day, she even ask me why didn't I wish her Happy Valentine's day (Oh~ Sorry baby, Happy Valentine^^) Everything is so red everywhere, even when I gone out with my sister for movie, I just feel CNY everywhere, so is it something wrong with me??

Talk about the movie, me, my two sister and brother in law went to watch "Little Big Soldier" starring Jackie Chan and Wang Lee Hom (Yes that's the reason for the movie, my sis is big fan of Wang Lee Hom, lol) I'm not going to write a review for this movie, but for me this is a decent movie to watch, especially on this festive season with family and friends. Just a bit sad that Jackie die in the end this time, and not Lee Hom (Opps.. Spoiler =P)



14th FEBRUARY 2010, same as usual, normal celebration for Chinese New Year, but special for Valentine's day, because this year finally a girl celebrating with me :) Even though we are far apart now, our heart is closer than ever^^ We will celebrate Valentines together when we meet again, wish to hug baby so much~ <3 Everyday is valentines is hard to do, but I wish to make you feel that, everyday :)

The Lovely Bones

Yesterday was my last day at Kg.Wai, after so many days of busy tiring life, not enough sleep and my eye feels like closing all the time. Even though I'm feel tired, but I don't want to spend my night alone sleeping til the next morning. Luckily my buddy Chenlin was there when I need him (I even lock my room and forgot to bring the key along with me, then Chenlin step in to rescue me :D, he so pro open the door with card^^) Anyway, both of us decided to watch movie together and now I'm giving review of this movie :)

Movie Title: The Lovely Bones

I'm attracted to this movie when I first saw the trailer. Base on the award-winning and best-selling 2002 novel of the same name by Alice Sebold, the story is about 14 year old girl name Susie Salmon. Like any other girl at her age, she dreams to be a wild life photographer and had a crush on her senior Ray Singh. But unlike other girls, her life end tragically, on December 6th 1973 when she was murdered and dismembered by her neighbor. As her life on earth ended, she not gone~ instead her spirit flees to her heaven, the perfect world for her.

How would she deal with the desire for vengeance against her desire for her family to recover after her absence?? How would her family's life goes through after Susie gone and will ever the murderer get his retribution?? That's for you all to check it out yourself^^ Here I insert some scene from the movie :)





From the director Peter Jackson together with some great cast like Saoirse Ronan, Mark Wahlberg, and Rachel Weisz makes the movie memorable. The scene and music move you into the movie, to feel the reality and feelings of Susie. This movie include many thing in it, love, hate, family, bonds, life and death. As Susie watches her family from heaven, she began to realize something new, a newfound strength that make her to move on~ As Susie said:

These were the lovely bones that had grown around my absence: the connections — sometimes tenuous, sometimes made at great cost, but often magnificent — that happened after I was gone. And I began to see things in a way that let me hold the world without me in it. The events my death brought were merely the bones of a body that would become whole at some unpredictable time in the future. The price of what I came to see as this miraculous lifeless body had been my life.

This is a great story I think, and I would recommend everyone to watch this movie :)

Baby Ammar struggles for life

This few days is really hectic for me, plus have to study for all those test. UniMAP start upgrading the system and following what ISO thing, so now I will have to do 2 test and one final exam, all subject in one semester. (No more easy life for me T.T)

Today I wake up quite early so I decide follow my blogwalking routine. As I enter Nuffnang website I saw this Nuffnang Charity Project about Baby Ammar. The story is 2 year old baby Ammar is un-fortunately suffered from Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) since birth. Having a hole in his heart which results in oxygenated blood and non-oxygenated blood mixing together, which in turn puts a lot of strain on his heart and lung arteries. In some cases, the hole eventually seals itself up after some time, but during a routine checkup on 11 January 2010, it was clear that that wasn’t the case with Baby Ammar and doctors pronounced surgery as being necessary to prevent the situation from growing worse.

Baby Ammar’s mother who is a Nuffnanger - Azmaniza bt Mohamad Kamal, blogs at http://mylife-asz.blogspot.com. The deposit for the surgery to close the PDA will cost RM12,000 and is a tremendous burden for Azmaniza, a full-time working mom with five children to feed. Knowing this misfortune news, Nuffnang start this charity project, hoping to help Azmaniza in collecting money for the deposit.

Look how cute the baby is, and now he suffer from this life-threatening condition. As a member of Nuffnang community, I'm writing this post here to help Azmaniza with hope that this news is spread a cross blogosphere, and someone is willing to help this mother in saving her baby.
